For Sale: 1931 Ford Model A in Solon, Ohio for sale in Solon, OH

Vehicle Description With Model T sales declining due to competition from Chevrolet and Plymouth, Henry Ford was finally persuaded to discontinue his Tin Lizzy.
Luckily for the Ford Motor Company, Edsel Ford's visionary mind and innovative design introduced the Model A.
The Ford Model A was produced for only four years but sold 4.
2 million units.
This wildly popular car featured an inline 4-cylinder water-cooled engine, conventional 3-speed manual transmission and 4-wheel mechanical drum brakes.
Standard driver controls included a conventional clutch and brake pedals.
Some of the reasons that the Model A Ford is extremely popular with old car enthusiasts are that it's easy to drive and -- more importantly -- parts are available from several sources.
This lovely Model A has been in the same family since the early '80s.
The owner was a machinist and did all of his own work.
Unfortunately, due to his illness, the car hadn't been on the road since 2010, but the owner had his son back it out of the garage one or two times a year so his dad could see it.
With the owner's recent passing, the car is now up for sale.
In preparation for selling, the car was recommissioned in August 2022 (receipts available upon request):
starter rebuilt carburetor rebuilt gas tank cleaned plugs and points cleaned new battery installed oil changed twice using Brad Penn high zinc oil radiator flushed and refilled with 50/50 antifreeze mixture All the hoses and wiring are in good condition.
While the Firestone whitewall tires are older, they show very little wear.
The top, bows and iron are in good condition and can be raised and lowered without effort.
The exterior in Washington Blue with black fenders still shows well.
The vinyl interior and rumble seat have been well preserved and still look like new.
And added bonus:
both the front seat and rumble seat have pleats, which are much nicer than plain flat vinyl.
We were surprised at how little this car needed as it had not been driven recently.
It is a testament to the care of the last owner, including the fact that it was kept in heated, dry storage.
In addition, the number on the block matches the title.
Note the extra two Model A engines at the end of the photo gallery, too.
They are also available with this car.

This is a great driving Model A and will be enjoyed for years to come.
It needs nothing in order for you to enjoy a day out with the family.
