Vehicle Description The Mercedes-Benz SL class is a grand tourer sports car, enamoring luxury drivers since its introduction in 1954.
The 380 SL was produced from 1981 through 1985, and the roadster offered an optional rear seat (as pictured in our photo gallery).
In fact, it was so popular that the 380 SL was the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz.
With just over 33,000 original miles, this two-owner Mercedes-Benz 380 SL is one of the finest we have seen.
The Astral Silver metallic paint is truly flawless, accented by pinstriping that matches the burgundy leather interior.
While there is some wear to the seats and floor mats, there is no rust or deterioration any place on the car, even on the undercarriage or under the spare tire (check out the evidence in the photo gallery).
The 233 cu in V8 engine starts and runs as if it were brand-new.

testament that it held the lead for rear-drive, open-air, V8 roadsters during its era.
Everything in the car works, including the original Becker Grand Prix AM/FM cassette radio and clock.
The original 14-inch alloy wheels are perfect, with no curb rash as is usually seen on a car of this age.
The steel-belted radial tires have good tread remaining, since they were replaced not long ago.
All service and owner's manuals remain with the car, as do two sets of original keys.
The first aid kit is intact and has never been used.
The original spare tire and wheel remain in the wheel well under the trunk.
The original black convertible top is stowed under the rear deck lid and is in the same immaculate condition as the rest of the car.
There is a hard top stand/rack available with the car.
The classic Mercedes-Benz SL design disappeared after 1989, so this is a rare chance to own one of the best original SLs of its era.

especially with its very low mileage and in this condition.
