Sr. Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with all functional areas of the business to provide reporting and insights aimed at continually improving the organizations performance.
In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity to:
o Develop working relationships with sales, marketing, and product management departments to gain an understanding of the market, products, risks, and opportunities
o Compile and analyze financial opportunities for sales and profit growth
o Compile and publish weekly and monthly sales, volume, and margin reporting
o Develop customer / segment specific strategies providing qualitative & quantitative insights in collaboration with business partners
o Develop financial models and tracking mechanisms to evaluate performance Vs. identified & implemented strategies
o Evaluate & allocate associated sales, marketing, and merchandising expenses insuring appropriate posting of amounts to correct cost centers and levels of spending
o Manage the approval process for requested pricing deviations requiring management authorization identifying estimated business impacts for review
o Develop and maintain templates and forecasts for Tarkett's internal SIOP process, with emphasis on process control, coordination, and development / review of the sales forecast
o Oversee the review & approval of customer incentive programs and payments, developing a model to track actual, forecasted, and budgeted incentives
o Develop the Annual Sales Budget, and associated programs & costs required to achieve top line numbers
o Provide monthly and year to date Price, Volume, Mix analysis relative budget & prior year working with sales to capture qualitative commentary supporting the analysis
o Ad hoc activities as required
What You Need to Succeed in This Position:
o Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
o Advanced Degree, MBA with Finance or Accounting Focus preferred
o A minimum of Five years' experience
o Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills
o Effective written and oral communication skills
o A strong skill set in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
o ERP Experience
o The ability to travel, both domestically and internationally
o Demonstrated success in developing and fostering teamwork at all levels.
o Ability to complete tasks expeditiously, professionally, and with minimal oversight
o An attitude of service for all customers - internal and external
o Computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
o Functional Certification CPA/CFA/CMA would be a plus
o SAP FI/CO Experience is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
