Legal Counsel
The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of high quality legal advice and support to the Professional portion of the business based in Solon, Ohio. Will serve as the legal co-pilot and legal advisor to the company Professional division and management teams. Also be responsible for maintaining oversight over the handling and resolutions of all legal issues pertaining to the assigned division (for matters arising at each and every stage of their businesses), either through direct management and handling or through the resources provided by the legal department?s subject matter experts. Work closely and collaboratively with the management teams, and the other business clients at all levels, of company. Serve as the legal co-pilot, primary point of contact and key advisor to the assigned Division. Provide day-to-day advice in the areas of commercial transactions, product labeling and claims, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, customs (import/export), sales and distribution. Provide ongoing risk assessments and crisis management support. For matters directly handled by subject-matter experts of the Legal Department, work collaboratively with the subject-matter experts to provide relevant business context and to ensure successful completion and outcome. Provide ongoing training on pertinent topics, including antitrust, risk assessments, industry trends, and compliance.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
