We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Accounting to join our team.
This position is an integral part of our leadership team and is responsible for managing all aspects of our accounting operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial records, treasury management, lease accounting, and risk management.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all general ledger activities and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
Lead and manage the treasury function, ensuring efficient cash management, accurate forecasting, and effective risk management.
Ensure compliance with ASC 842 for all lease accounting activities and provide guidance and support to the accounting team in this regard.
Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to protect the company's financial well-being.
Provide leadership, direction, and management to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Collaborate with executive leadership to define financial strategy and policy, serving as a key advisor on financial and operational matters impacting the company's performance and growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the engineering industry.
Proven experience in managing financial records, treasury, lease accounting (ASC 842), and risk management.
Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
Knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
High proficiency in accounting software and related technologies.
Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, and understanding of confidentiality.
