WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Lead the Human Resources function for one of our manufacturing plants in Solon, OH.
This site has about 250 employees.
Supervise an HRBP and HR Coordinator.
Build relationships with business leaders, understanding their individual business requirements and strategies; provide coaching, advice and support in relation to organizational change, talent management and capability development.
Provide day to day Human Resources support to the workforce through employee engagement on the shop floor, responding to questions/inquires in a timely manner and working to resolve concerns as soon as identified.
Champion and reinforce the nVent culture to promote our goal to be an employer of choice and attract and retain the best people.
Implement and communicate HR programs, policies, and employee guidelines to achieve goals and fulfill legal requirements.
Ensure consistency across the organization with all existing programs.
Conduct investigations on employee complaints that could result in legal ramifications or organizational exposure; assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on established practice and relevant laws.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred 5
years of progressive HR experience 3

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
