SUMMARY This leadership position is responsible for establishing, promoting and proactively driving business performance and championing a culture of business excellence as a Co-pilot to the Snacking Marketing Director. Provides insight and strongly supports fact-based decision making based on current business environment and specialist financial knowledge, and by challenging new strategies and new projects, as well as the status quo. Provides strategic, long-term financial guidance and partners with Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to maximize performance throughout the organization. Provides leadership by actively coaching and developing team members. Ensures cross-functional team compliance with internal, external and operational audit requirements. The individual must be able to effectively interact, collaborate and communicate across multiple functions in the organization, cooperating and building consensus to drive results. The position will plan, prioritize and manage workload in an environment of competing priorities where risk must be accurately assessed to support and guide timely and sound business decisions. RESPONSIBILITIES oDrive the extended cross functional Snacking Team to deliver the business targets on OG, COP1 and Market Share. oEnsures quality information is used by the business for decision making and exercises foresight to ensure that potential risks and opportunities are anticipated and understood. Reviews monthly performance and develops appropriate action plans to ensure achievement of performance targets oAnalyze and challenge the product portfolio and class of trade (channel) to identify cost optimization opportunities, eliminate Value Destroyers and maximize return on investment from TTS/PFME oLead the E2E Value Stream Program for Snacking and deliver against the margin targets that have been set oOversees the preparation and review of business planning activities including MBS, ICP, and monthly DF ensuring coordination of activities/information across functions with the business unit to provide accurate forecasts oOversees activities related to the monthly financial close, review of financial statements, preparation of monthly division management performance reporting/KPI's/scorecards and meeting corporate financialreporting requirements oEnsure compliance in utilization of NPDI (Nestle Product Development & Introduction) and data accuracy of I&R project financials. Champion best practices and ensure standardization with other NUSA Divisions including implementation of functional tools. Act as a resource and provide training and support to the organization and Brand Co-pilots as needed oThis position has two direct reports (Senior Financial Analysts) REQUIREMENTS oBA/BS degree with major in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related business degree; advanced degree strongly preferred oMinimum 6 years of experience in Finance, Economics, Strategic Planning and Analysis, value Functional Finance experience with broad working knowledge of P&L oProficiency in use of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and accounting and reporting systems, including Essbase, SAP and B/W. Advanced expertise in Excel spreadsheets a must oStrategic thought leadership; a big-picture view while executing functional requirements oPrevious management or supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership ability oProven knowledge of financial concepts and principles including cash flow, NPV, IRR, ROI, EP oDemonstrated ability to design financial and non-financial measurements and key performance indicators (KPI's) to drive improved business performance
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
