Duties Nestle USA, Inc. seeks an Advanced Controls and Automation Engineer in Solon, Ohio Duties:
Assess and analyze current conditions in NUSA factories related to the automation area, bringing a systematic and sustainable plan to improve their production capabilities. Execute improvement plans with the full participation of the Electricity and Automation teams in the factories as well as other support teams such as Quality, Industrial Performance and IT. Apply new standards working closely throughout the global Electricity and Automation network. Research, experiment and deliver actual and future trends on Process Control and Advanced Process Control (APC), including new technologies such as machine learning, data analytics, vision systems and robotics. Lead market networks in Process Control to provide regular training sessions for the regional E&A community. Support capital projects with budgeting and scheduling E&A portion of projects. Requirements Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or supporting process or manufacturing automation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience. All stated experience must include the following:
Industrial automation software including RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View Machine Edition (ME) and Wonderware System Platform; Automation technologies including programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), MES applications, advanced analytics, preventative maintenance, vision systems, or robotics, networking; Industrial instrumentation engineering; Commissioning of machines and training operators for running machines; PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley or Siemens); Electrical and Pneumatic design and troubleshooting of both high power and low power using AUTOCAD; and, Electrical codes and safety standard compliance practices.
