Medical Practice Management Company seeks experienced Payment Adjudication Coordinator. This position is responsible for reviewing, coordinating and streamlining payment posting, refund credit balances to insurance companies and patients, and other revenue cycle management activities.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Familiarity
with Microsoft applications and Allscripts PM (or other medical billing applications) is a plus. Competitive wages, flexible hours and a full benefit package are available.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Apply payments received from Insurance Companies and Patients Coordinate Credit and Refund on patient accounts Post all denials and route to the appropriate queue for follow-up within Allscripts Coordinate with Collection Supervisor regarding payments received from Collection Agencies Contact and communicate with insurance companies to obtain additional, missing and/or other
needed information (ie EOB's, pages, refunds, etc.) to accurately adjudicate claims Timely application of all payments received within the month Generate, analyze and submit balancing reports to ensure accurate posting between our companies to the finance department
