Summary:
To assemble/package product and operate assembly equipment. The associate must be customer service oriented by taking proactive approaches to the job. The associate will support Swagelok's operating plan along with the Swagelok mission, vision and values.
Key
Responsibilities:
Assemble components into complete or partial products according to work order.
Set up workstation daily.
Verify trace id information of all materials used for each job.
Perform daily equipment maintenance and clean up.
Complete daily documentation.
Handle parts properly.
Perform In-Process Inspection (visual and gaging) during assembly.
Recognize non-conformances and inform supervisor or set-up.
Operate designated assembly/packaging equipment. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in area.
Plan and prioritize daily orders.
Perform job related administrative tasks using Control.
Search out, recommend and implement process improvements.
Maintain a balanced workload during and between the shifts.
Perform IPI inspection on regional and factory orders.
Requirements
Position Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: Assembly experience and knowledge of the product/process.
Skills/Knowledge: Able to read and follow work instructions and is mechanically inclined. Able to recognize functional and cosmetic defects. Responsible for the assembly, testing, and packaging of product. Requires the use of assembly equipment, Control, and standard work.

Scope of position:
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift Kegs and Boxes on a regular basis between 25 - 35 pounds and occasionally between 35 - 50 pounds. Considerable standing, stooping and bending is required.
